Venturi Flow Meter is very versatile for many applications. The Venturi can cope with a wide range of flowing mediums from Gas, water, Chemical, Crude, Slurry and even high temperature Steam applications. Venturi's are very useful when considering erosion and pressure recovery restraints.
Venturi manufacturing fits in 3 options. Rolled Plate and Fabricated for sizes beyond 10" Line or Forge Machined for smaller sizes and high pressures and finally cast machined which is utilized if you have multiples of the same venturi. The venturi requires to Maintenance nor does it have moving Parts.
